What is an MSDS?
An MSDS or material safety data sheet
is a document that contains important information about chemical
products that can be potentially hazardous to the user and the
environment. An MSDS is prepared for nearly all pesticides, fertilisers
and other chemicals produced. It provides users of the product,
and other people concerned with safety in the workplace, with
the necessary information to safely manage the chemical product.
Manufacturers of chemical
products are required to produce and make available an
MSDS about each product. Below is a list of links to manufacturer’s
