What is the future of your Water?
Water Futures Forum
Monday 30th June 2008
7:00 pm Griffith Regional Theatre
Our Water Futures are uncertain. The Commonwealth government has a mandate to "fix" the over allocation in the Murray Darling Basin. It is clear that there will be changes to how water is managed and allocated in the future. It is essential that irrigators and irrigation companies are informed and take part in the debate.
The Murrumbidgee Horticulture Council invites you to join Professor Mike Young (Research Chair, Water Ecomonics and Management, University of Adelaide) and a panel of government and irrigator representatives to discuss the water futures of the Murray Darling Basing and our community. The evening will be facilitated by Michael Condon, presenter of ABC Radio's Country Hour.
